COMING FROM « PARIS / ANGOULEME / SAINTES / POITIERS »,
from the PONT D'AQUITAINE bridge
After crossing the PONT D'AQUITAINE bridge, take the first exit, signposted « BORDEAUX CENTRE », and continue in that direction. Turn left at the traffic lights after "Auchan" (shopping center) toward "centre ville" then Bacalan. You reach the river bank. You need to go along the banks of the River GARONNE (which is on your left) for several kilometres and pass by the Esplanade des QUINCONCES square (on your right).
Go straight on, and turn right at the next traffic lights (signposted « Grand Théâtre ») into the rue ESPRIT des LOIS.
Take the first street on your right, rue LAFAYETTE, then at the end of this turn left and go up the ALLEES D’ORLEANS. Rue de CONDE is the second street on the left.
COMING FROM « BRIVE / PERIGUEUX / BERGERAC »,
by the « N.89 », you need to follow the signposts for « BORDEAUX CENTRE VILLE ». From the PONT DE PIERRE bridge.
You will cross the River Garonne by the PONT DE PIERRE bridge. Follow the signs for « BORDEAUX LAC / LES QUAIS ». The River Garonne will then be on your right. Go straight on, until you reach the PLACE DE LA BOURSE square. At the traffic lights (going towards « Grand Théâtre »), turn into rue ESPRIT des LOIS. Take the first on the right, rue LAFAYETTE, then turn left to go up the ALLEES D’ORLEANS. The rue de CONDE is the second street on the left.
COMING FROM « TOULOUSE / AGEN / BIARRITZ »
Leave the motorway by exit n°21 for « BORDEAUX CENTRE / GARE St JEAN ». Carry straight on towards the town centre, signposted « CENTRE VILLE » with the River Garonne on your right. Go straight on, until you reach the PLACE DE LA BOURSE. At the traffic lights, turn into the rue ESPRIT des LOIS (signposted « GRAND THEATRE »). Take the first on the right, rue LAFAYETTE, then turn left to go up the ALLEES D’ORLEANS. The rue de CONDE is the second street on the left.
COMING FROM BORDEAUX MERIGNAC AIRPORT
Follow the signs for the centre of Bordeaux « BORDEAUX CENTRE », keep going straight on. When you reach Place Gambetta, take the COURS CLEMENCEAU street and then the ALLEES de TOURNY going towards « PLACE DE LA COMEDIE / GRAND THEATRE. »
Go down the rue ESPRIT des LOIS towards the River Garonne. Take the second on the left, la rue LAMOUREUX, which leads to the ALLEES D’ORLEANS. Go up the ALLEES D’ORLEANS until you reach the rue de CONDE, which is the first on the left.
